Hi everyone.
I’m really excited to finally announce my new book, Sort Your Head Out, which will be published by Contable in February 2023 - available in hardback, Kindle edition and audiobook (read by me).
It’s been a long journey, which started with the first ever Reset post a couple of years ago.
Thanks to all of you who have read, shared and supported this publication since then. Its success led directly to the book coming about.
A great deal of the stuff in Sort Your Head Out is derived from the newsletters I first published here. But there is also a ton of new stuff I have written to fill in the gaps about my life, my thoughts on mental health, my struggles with drink and drugs and more.
There are also many new stories about the maddest, weirdest and funniest shit that has ever happened to me. I hope it will make you laugh as well as think.
I’d have never had the balls to put it all down in a book if it hadn’t been for the nice responses I got to The Reset, so thanks.
Writing the book was cathartic for me. I have written it to expand the conversation about mental health and normalise it for ordinary blokes like me. It’s the book I would have loved to have read myself twelve years ago when I was batshit loopy, scared, ashamed, contantly on the piss and unable to admit my problems to anyone. I thought I was the only bloke going through that shit. I was wrong.
Anyway, I am very proud of what I’ve written and can’t wait to see it in the shops.
I’ll keep you posted about more activity surrounding the launch. Now would be a good time to upgrade to The Reset Extra as I will be giving a few sneek previews over the coming weeks. Paid subscribers will also be given the chance to buy personalised and signed copies directly from me at a discount price when it comes out. If you fancy a bit of that, upgrade now.
I’ll also be hosting a few live events around launch and Reset Extra subscribers will be getting priority tickets.
Anyway, thanks again for being a part of The Reset and making this book possible.
Until next time, be lucky and don’t let the dickheads get you down…

Can’t wait to read it Sam. Congrats on completing it too, imagine some of the things inside would have been hard to write down, I know it would be for many blokes.
