Just got around to listening. Really enjoyed this one. Fascinating stuff! I was going through a bad time about 20 years ago (work) and a colleague told me, to help me believe it would pass, that she’d lost both her daughters in a car accident, which she survived. I obviously felt my problems were insignificant compared to what she’d suffered. She told me they were the same, because we'd both experienced the worse we knew to date. 'You can only go to the edge of your pain' (Or experience). I was reminded of this Dean described how people with more privileges/less worry are hit just as badly when things go wrong.

He is spot on with so much. Accepting unhappiness as part of the spectrum is healthy. I'm okay. The glued together vase is still functional and a thing of beauty.

Thank you.

loved this one so much, perfectly skewering the nasty side of the myths about 'you can be anything you want'. Very funny too! Really needed to hear this today, thanks very much Sam and Dean. Take care fellas x

This was such a good episode, and it's the first time I've heard someone voice what I've felt about 'mindfulness.' Thank you.
