Apart from the nailing vodka while the kettle's boiling and cocaine commuting, this is me. I'm two years sober this weekend. You're an inspiration, making other people feel better even when you feel bad yourself. I wish you well.
Congratulations Sam! Keep on keeping on and climbing the hill out of that dark valley you've been in. You're a great role model for all of us silly dysfunctional men and I'm grateful I have you and TFTM in my life x
Nice one Sam. Big TFTM fan/IFS cunter and someone who struggles a bit with this kind of thing. Glad you're happy and for what it's worth, I'm proud of you mush. Absolute legend. 👊
I am 10 years sober today. After Googling "10 years sober" this came up, and yesterday I quite by accident found my first ever Where to Find paper meeting directory in my keepsake box. It is the June 2015 edition. One Day At A Time, brother ✊🏻
Congratulations on ten years Sam. I would like to thank you for inspiring my sober journey 🙏🏽 After listening to your pods and reading sort your head out I started therapy got a dog and packed in the booze. 16 months in and not once woken up wishing I’d drunk the night before. Keep up the good work you are one of the good guys.
What an incredible message. That makes me feel really chuffed Simon. So pleased reading the book helped make a difference. Therapy, sobriety and dogs are the route to the good life! Thanks for reaching out, have a great day.
Hope you are feeling better by the time you read this. I quit drinking nearly 4 years ago. Has definitely benefitted me despite the difficult feelings which have subsequently made their appearance. I'm interested in your comment that you're not anti booze or boozers. How did you get to that point? Did it take time or were you instantly non judgemental? I was raised by functioning alcoholics and I now can't help looking at such people with contempt. Which is pretty intolerant.

I don’t know or understand the complexities of your position but I can see you’re a fighter. Crack on and keep well.
