SAS legend and best-selling author joins Sam to talk about how life in the military impacted his mental health, the trauma of war, the symptoms of untreated PTSD and how he learned to tackle his demons.
Profound stuff from the SAS legend there. Can’t imagine what it would feel like to be in that mid-set. I genuinely had goosebumps running down the back of my neck listening to the taxi story. I’m a big fan of Chris’s podcast too - he really strips the human psyche down to the bare wiring and it’s an honour to listen to the guests he has on spilling out their deepest thoughts and feelings.
Wow... simply wow! If there’s a template for mental health, there it is in all it’s rawness - and although very few people would ever experience what he has, most people can relate to the struggles we face in our everyday life and how our choices of dealing with those struggles can have either a positive outcome or a inwardly negative snowball effect. Brilliant stuff - thanks Sam and Chris
Never been in the military but so much I could relate to. Keep these coming.
